This is one of my absolute favourite arrangements which was premiered in June 2026 at the MuHo Mannheim Jubliäum concert to celebrate over 100 jobs won by students of Prof. Ole Kristian Dahl since 2008! It is one of my all time favourite pieces, and this arrangement is a reduction of the original suites 1 & 2 for 6 bassoons + contra. This is rather a long arrangement with over 700 bars of music and over 25 minutes long. It is possible to perform individual movements rather than the whole thing, and there are many ossia’s written in for the extreme register.
